'Flat Out' by Jon Buck, 2004

This bronze sculpture of a running figure is located outside the University of Bristol’s Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health on Tyndall Avenue. The sculpture was created by Jon Buck, a local artist, who unveiled the work in August 2004. The figure is two metres high and features detailed engravings across the surface, which represent various aspects of academic life.
