Funding Available for Research Collaborations with the University of Sydney

Online applications for the International Program Development Fund (IPDF) and the International Research Collaboration Award (IRCA) will open on Monday 5 May.

The International Programme Development Fund (IPDF) provides funding of up to $20,000 to University of Sydney academics to support initiatives in internationalisation. The aim is to foster international partnerships in research, teaching and learning, capacity building and other areas with high profile partners in priority areas. The IPDF is administered through the International Portfolio. For further information and to download the guidelines please refer to the IPDF website.
The closing date for applications to the IPDF is 5pm (AEST), 30 May 2014.

The University of Sydney International Research Collaboration Award (IRCA) provides up to $15,000 for overseas researchers of high standing at any stage in their career. The funding is to enable them to travel to Australia to share and disseminate new and original ideas and/or techniques, initiate and undertake collaborative research and facilitate interaction and training of University of Sydney staff and students. The successful applicants are expected to make a substantial contribution to the academic life of the University and to be based full-time at the University for the duration of their award, up to a maximum of 8 weeks.
