Researchers across WUN organise a variety of activities to strengthen their collaborations. These take place in both the physical and the virtual environment.

The WUN launched in 2020 its Early Career Networking workshops series. This began with an Inaugural Event and followed up with workshops linked to specific SDGs and available to view online:

WUN creates regular bespoke convenings and events for students, often addressed to themes of contemporary relevance.

At the WUN AGM in Dublin, 2 students, Stanford (middle row first left) and Sally Patterson (front row second left), represented the University of Bristol at a “special topic session” on student mental health, at which the WUN Student Mental Health Working Group presented its report. This group is made up of researchers, practitioners and students from around the network who had been meeting in the leadup to the AGM, shared its findings and recommendations.
