Bristol Cardiovascular
The Cardiovascular group within the Department of Translational Health Sciences are predominantly based on level 7 of the Queens’ Building of the Bristol Royal Infirmary and are an integral part of the Bristol Heart Institute. The group is composed of clinical and discovery science researchers and encompasses a range of cardiovascular research areas; cell biology, pathology, cardiac surgery, cardiology and tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. The integration of clinical, translational and discovery cardiovascular science is a major thrust of our research, as well as our cardiovascular post-graduate teaching programmes.
