Most of the work on this stage is self-directed learning under the guidance of a HPE supervisor. The HPE dissertation lead will help you develop your project proposal and select an appropriate supervisor. As this stage involves so much self-study it can be done at a distance from the University. The dissertation is worth 60 credits you need to factor in 600 hours of work as a guide.

You will be allocated a personal tutor who will fully support and guide you through the F/T MSc. This includes one-to-one tutorials, journal clubs and group writing workshops.

You are given 2 years to complete your dissertation.
