Joining the TSS is a simple process but just in case you need some guidance here are our top tips on preparing your application and registering with us. 

CV

• Your CV should include an overview of any employment or work experience, and your education history.
• Keep it simple and clear – we would recommend a maximum of two pages of A4 and a clear layout and font.

Online tests

• You will be sent instructions by email and some information will appear on screen to guide you. Make sure you read this thoroughly. The information will give you an idea of what to expect and the format of the tests.
• The tests will assess your skills and ability to type, use Microsoft Office and carry out admin tasks. If you haven’t done any typing or used Word/Excel recently it may be worth having a practice and re-familiarising yourself with the program. You can even find some practice tests on the internet which may be useful.
• Keep calm, and take time to read each question so you are clear on what you need to do.
