Connecting across disciplines

The main building will provide space for up to 4,600 undergraduate and postgraduate students. It will bring together expertise from:

• the Business School
• Engineering 
• Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The campus will enhance opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and respond to the increasingly complex nature of global challenges. Learning will be informed by the evolving needs of students and employers, preparing students to tackle the complexities of today's global challenges.

Education options will respond to the demands of the modern world, accommodating diverse learning styles and widening access to education and skills. We will invest in areas of teaching and research where we are already world-leading and challenge ourselves to go further. TQEC will combine our existing renowned programmes alongside the development of new offers, including more Executive Education.

Much of the campus has been shaped in consultation with the community. It provides dedicated spaces for students and staff to work alongside civic and industry partners, fostering meaningful relationships that drive impactful learning experiences.

TQEC provides the infrastructure to work with a broader range of partners that will enhance our potential to come up with new ideas and drive positive change.
