Immigration and travel

The UK left the European Union on 31 January 2020. We are now in an implementation period that will end on 31 December 2020.

During this transition period, there is no change to your immigration and associated fee status and you will not need to do anything immediately.

You can travel freely between the UK and the EU as before. You won’t need to do anything different or provide any additional evidence.

EU Settlement Scheme

  1. If your course continues after 31 December 2020 and,
  2. you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen or a relative of a family member who is,  or will be living and studying in the UK post-Brexit and are not a British citizen

we recommend you apply to the EU Settlement Scheme if you are eligible.
