A fully accredited coach and published author on business mentoring, Sarah has worked as an executive coach and management consultant for over 20 years. Sarah is a founder director of The Centre for Mentoring & Coaching. Her experience spans the corporate, public and the voluntary sectors and she has designed and delivered bespoke leadership development and coaching programmes for high profile clients including Marie Curie, Peabody, Triodos Bank UK, RBS, Prospect Hospice, UWE Bristol, University of Greenwich, University of Portsmouth and the University of Bristol. Sarah has a proven track record of supporting senior teams using The Centre’s best practice framework, integrating individual coaching and team development.

Sarah’s leadership and management expertise was gained through 16 years instigating and managing large scale change programmes for Local Government. Here she worked in a number of senior roles in housing services and gained her Housing Management Professional qualification.
Sarah is a qualified supervisor coach and for many years acted as a supervisor on the Bath Consultancy Group Supervision Programme for coaches, mentors and consultants. The Centre for Mentoring and Coaching Ltd are business partners with the University of the West of England where Sarah was co-tutor on a Masters Module on coaching entitled ‘Developing Mentors and Coaches: an inquiry into practice’.


Qualified in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step II, Sarah uses this to help people understand themselves and unravel the way they communicate with others. Sarah is a qualified practitioner of the Leadership Development Framework which provides a powerful development insights for leaders
Sarah brings a potent mix of drive and compassion to her work, which translates into her personal ambitions and pastimes. Sarah provides harp meditations at silent retreats whilst her energy extends into her enjoyment of long distance trail running.


At the Centre for Mentoring and Coaching ltd, we have a strong focus on coaching practice and development: all directors and associates receive monthly peer supervision and external supervision. Supervision enables the exploration of our professional practice and ethics, the ways our interpersonal relationships affect our effectiveness with clients, and understanding the influence of organisation systemic patterns on client behaviours and effectiveness.
