What's on with B:Active this week?
Where possible we are delivering outdoor activity for students in residences. All of our other B:Active Residences classes are currently being livestreamed via the Sport, Exercise and Health app. Download it today and get free access to classes with our B:Active instructors!
For covid-19 sanitation reasons we are asking Fitness Class and B:Active Campus class attendees to bring their own mat (where the session requires it) rather than providing shared mats. Mats are also available to buy at the Indoor Sport Centre Welcome Desk for £18.
What is B:Active Residences?
B:Active Residences is a programme of free activity for students living in university-allocated accommodation at the University of Bristol. To help you stay active and make friends while settling in to University life we’re bringing fitness and sport to you!
Activities on B:Active Residences include:
- Instructor-led fitness classes onsite and online - Download our app here
- Beginner and social sports sessions led by student clubs and societies including Tennis and Netball
- Running groups starting from residential village hubs
- Walking tours – get to know your new city!
Who will be there? What about student households?
Wherever possible activity will be delivered with your household. We will only deliver in-person activity when and where it is safe to do so. As well as our friendly instructors, coaches and student sports club members, B:Active sessions are supported by our Student Activators who are there to make sure you’re settled in and can answer questions you may have.
