New to Bristol Translates in 2025, we are offering translators not attending the language workshops on Monday. Wednesday and Friday the opportunity to benefit from the professional development sessions on Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th July. A single ticket gives you access to inspiring talks and panel sessions by expert speakers.  See the programme here and click here to apply.

Three scholarships covering the registration fee are available for the Catalan workshop. To apply, submit your application to Bristol Translates by Wednesday 7 May. Scholarship applications will be judged on those whose literary translation practice will benefit most from attendance at the summer school.

All other Scholarships applications are now closed for 2025.

 

The quality of the teaching was superb - workshop leaders were brilliant at what they did and also friendly and encouraging. Lots of collaboration, laughter and finding joy in what we do, as well as exploring new and challenging types of translation.
