Supporting research
The ILO Research Support Network helps academics to deliver their research and maximise its impact.
Some of the ways we can help you...
-
Research Project Management
Project Managers provide high quality management of complex research projects to enable academics and research teams to focus on the delivery of the technical aspects of the work.
-
Research Group Support
Research Managers work in partnership with the Head of Research Group to develop and deliver the group’s research strategy and to manage the group’s research portfolio. Research administrators provide operational support to research groups, assisting with: workshops, conferences, lectures and events; website management; office and lab space management; travel arrangements; marketing; and other research-related activities.
-
Theme Programme Management
Our four programme managers work with academics across the Faculty to help them to develop their research ideas and prepare funding applications. They also support research impact by various routes including building links with industry to explore routes for research collaboration and commercialisation. If you are preparing a research proposal, please speak with the Industrial Liaison Manager about costing in appropriate project support.
