The University of Bristol is supporting the NextGen Gambling Research Network (NextGen), a vibrant community dedicated to supporting and empowering Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in the field of gambling research.  

We are keen to include PhD/Doctoral Students and anyone who self-identifies as an ECR in this network. 

What will NextGen do? 

• Provide opportunities for peers working on gambling to build meaningful connections to enhance the research, impact and career development of members. 
• Support in-person and online workshops and seminars for members to present their research in a supportive atmosphere.  
• Provide guidance and advice on professional development opportunities including relevant training and knowledge exchange activities. 
• Provide access to a travel support fund for members to attend conferences or participate in knowledge exchange or dissemination activities.
