Bristol's Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training (QE-CDT) offers an exceptional PhD training and development experience for those wishing to pursue a career in the emerging quantum technologies industry or in academia. It supports the understanding of sound fundamental scientific principles and their practical application to real-world challenges. Our students are given the opportunity to put their burgeoning knowledge of science and engineering into practice from the outset.

The QE-CDT sits across the Faculties of Science and Engineering and is aligned to research in QET Labs as well as other related research areas across the University of Bristol including physics, engineering, maths and computer science.
