Exploring the potential consequences of a ban on disposable vapes among disposable vape users

Study details

After completing a short survey including your demographic information and vaping history, you would take part in a (approximately) 20-30 minute interview via zoom where the researchers will explore your patterns of disposable vape use and your opinions on how a disposable vape ban might impact you and disposable vape users in general. You would be reimbursed with either experimental hours credits (0.75 credits) or a £10 love2shop voucher. In total the whole session is expected to take up to 45 minutes.

Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria

You must meet the following criteria to participate:

• Be fluent in English

• Be at least 18 years old

• Be able to give informed consent.

• Be able to attend an online meeting using Zoom.

• Currently live in the UK

• Fit one of the following descriptions: - Have never smoked cigarettes and use a disposable vape five or more times a day for the last three months at least. - Have smoked five or more cigarettes per day for the last three months at least and use a disposable vape five or more times a day for the last three months at least. - Used to smoke five or more cigarettes per day for at least three months but have stopped smoking in the last twelve months and replaced smoking with the use of a disposable vape for a least one month. You would not be able to take part in the study if you:

• Have uncorrected visual or hearing problems.
