Bristol Neuroscience Festival Award

14 July 2016

Experimental Psychology wins STEM Event of the Year and is Highly Commended for Public Engagement.

On the 13th July the Bristol Neuroscience Festival was named as the STEM Event of the Year by the coordinator for Bristol Bath and Somerset. The Festival was up for two awards this year, the second was a University Public Engagement Award for which we were given a Highly Commended.

Dr David Turk emphaised that "public engagement events like this are only as good as the volunteers that support them, so this award is for every person that gave up their time to help put on such a brilliant couple of days.  The feedback from all of the public was extremely positive and we would like to give a big thanks to all those who supported the Bristol Neuroscience festival".

Further details on the University Awards will be posted on the Centre for Public Engagement's website in due course.
