Jeff Brunstrom and Peter Rogers contribute to a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) called "Nudge-it: Understanding Obesity"

As part of a large multi-disciplinary European research project (called "Nudge-it"), Professor Peter Rogers and Professor Jeff Brunstrom from the Nutrition and Behaviour Unit have contributed to a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) called "Understanding Obesity". This is a free online course on food choice, appetite and obesity. “Understanding Obesity” will discuss key physiological and psychological concepts and address common misconceptions around the brain’s control of appetite and body weight. The course describes new approaches to the treatment and prevention of obesity, and gives participants the opportunity to reflect on their own knowledge and assumptions around the causes of obesity. The 4 week course is open for enrolment now and begins on the 5th October 2015.
