NBU researchers host a food demo at @Bristol
1 May 2015
On the evening of Wednesday 6 May, several researchers from the Nutrition and Behaviour Unit will be taking part in a live food demonstration at the After Hours Food event held at At-Bristol.
This event is open to all adults (ticket information can be found here: https://www.at-bristol.org.uk/2504.html).
Have you ever wished you could explore a child-free science centre where you are free to play on the exhibits as much as you want and have a cheeky beverage or two at the same time? The At-Bristol team have made your wishes come true with our quarterly adult-only event, After Hours. Members from At-Bristol and the NBU have joined in a collaborative effort to create a fully immersive and interactive food experience. Snack like never before in a guided tour of your brain & stomach as we take a unique peek at the psychology of appetite.
As part of Bristol Food Connections, other fun activities on the night include:
* Meet real-life Willy Wonkas & put your nose to the test with some aromatic experiments with flavour experts TasteTech
* Get spicy with The Bart Ingredient Company in some tongue-tingling taste tests in the test Kitchen
