AvonCAP GP2: general practice study about chest infections
Under the Data Protection Act 2018, you have a right to know what personal data belonging to you we hold. Where requested, by contacting us at the address below, we will provide you with a copy of your personal details and study status we have on record. We will need to confirm your identity before supplying you with this information to ensure confidentiality and to comply with the Data Protection Act.
Where the data has been collected by AvonCAP GP2 (University of Bristol), we allow you to challenge the data we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data erased, rectified, amended or completed. - Remember, if you do not want us to use your official records in our research then it is important that you opt out.
You do not need to tell us why you don’t want to be included in AvonCAP GP2; we appreciate that people have different views on how their personal information should be used. It is your decision.
