We are grateful to the members our patient and public involvement (PPI) group who are using their knowledge and expertise to help develop and refine the project.

We have received support from the University of the West of England (UWE) public involvement team and People in Health West of England (PHWE) for the PPI work of the study. This is ongoing and includes support for the evaluation of our PPI activity.

PHWE provides regular training and promotes new opportunities for public involvement.

Jo White is the UWE public involvement lead on the project.
