Do you care for a child with eczema?

13 September 2015

Researchers from the University of Bristol are running a number of studies locally, looking at how to best look after children with this common and often troublesome condition.

They are looking for parents of children with eczema to help design the next project, comparing the effectiveness of emollients (moisturisers) used in the treatment of this condition.  There are three ways you can get involved:

  • A face-to-face meeting with fellow parents/carers and the research team at Canynge Hall, Bristol (BS8 2PS) on Thursday 24 September, 9.30-11.00.  Refreshments will be provided and costs reimbursed
  • An on-line survey, which will take no more than 10 minutes to complete
  • A Tweetchat (hashtag #eczcare) on Thursday 17 September, 20.00-21.00.

To book yourself a place at the meeting on 24 September or for further information, please contact Dr Matthew Ridd, a GP at Portishead and an academic at the university.
