Bristol Living Wage City Celebration

14 November 2022, 2.30 PM - 14 November 2022, 4.00 PM

City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR

The Mayor of Bristol, Bristol City Council and Living Wage employers across the city are hosting a celebration of Three Years of Bristol Living Wage City as part of national Living Wage week. The event will be an opportunity to network with other employers, meet living wage businesses and talk to the experts about the accreditation process and how paying a real living wage could benefit your business. The event will be held in person at City Hall in Bristol.

Hear from the Mayor of Bristol Marvin Rees, accredited Bristol businesses including BOX-E, Rising Arts Agency and Ujima Radio on how and why they made the decision to pay their staff the real Living Wage; and speakers from the national Living Wage Foundation and Bristol Poverty Institute on the impact this social value standard can make on your organisation and your city.

The event is suitable for all sizes of organisations from start-ups to internationals; come and learn more about the potential benefits to your people and your business in these challenging economic times.

The event will provide an opportunity to work with the Council and other employers on the next three years of making Bristol a Living Wage City, and in doing so help reduce poverty and inequality in Bristol.
