Applying to the Research Councils: Top tips and your questions answered (BPI-MMB-RED Grant Development Workshop)

10 May 2022, 12.00 PM - 10 May 2022, 1.00 PM

Zoom

This session is open to University of Bristol researchers at all levels. Hosted by Migration Mobilities Bristol (MMB) and the Bristol Poverty Institute (BPI), this one hour online session will be delivered by our fantastic colleagues in the Research and Enterprise Division (RED) who have expert knowledge on the UKRI grant application processes, guidelines, and secrets for success.

Navigating the internal and external processes required by Research Councils can be a complicated and confusing process for even the most prolific grant writers! MMB and BPI therefore thought it could be useful to bring in the RED experts to give you some top tips for what to consider when putting together a large grant application. Sam Lambshead, Laura Lyddon and Sarah Halliwell from RED's Research Development will give a brief presentation and then offer you a chance to ask questions. There is also the option to submit a question in advance via the registration form, if you already have one in mind.

It’s only an hour online and you're very welcome to bring your lunch along (just mute your microphone if you do!), so please do join us! Registration is free via Eventbrite.

Please note this session is only for current University of Bristol academics. Please register with your UoB email address so we can verify your status.
