Evidence into Practice
In this section of the website you will find information relating to the findings from the PROVIDE research programme. We are committed to ensuring that the outcomes of our research have impact in the context of policy making and clinical practice.
In the final year of our research programme we have hosted a NHS management fellow who is currently on secondment from Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group and has been working with the team to support our agenda around knowledge mobilisation. The focus of this work has been on:
- Building stronger links between the researcher and commissioner communities
- Identifying key actionable messages for commissioners and policy-makers from research findings
- Identifying the best ways to disseminate the research findings to appropriate audiences.
We have created briefing notes and videos to accompany some of our research papers to broaden access to our work beyond the academic audience.
