How will people be given information about the study?

Click above to watch a video of Helen McNally, lead research nurse of the Trial, discussing how patients are told about the study.

Patients who are eligible to take part will be told about the study by their kidney team. They will be provided with a patient information leaflet and a link to this website. If someone is interested in taking part in the Prepare for Kidney Care study and their centre is on this list, they should contact their renal team about the study.

Patients who are interested to hear more about the study will have a number of visits with a research nurse, either in their own home or at the research clinic. These visits will help people to understand what’s involved in the study and to decide if they would like to take part. If they do not wish to take part, their treatment will not be affected in any way.
