Research into Multiple Risk Behaviours
This programme of research examines multiple risk behaviours in young people, and the factors that influence them. It aims to develop interventions to reduce these risk behaviours and address their causes.
Research in this area broadly fits under the following four themes:
Epidemiology of Multiple Risk Behaviours
Previous Research
- Longitudinal patterns, predictors and outcomes of multiple cancer risk exposures (Caroline Wright)
- An exploration of the relationship between multiple risk behaviour and health inequalities in young adulthood (Laura Tinner)
- The Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) and adolescent substance use trajectories: consolidation of a UK research resource (Hickman et al)
Systematic Reviews of interventions to prevent multiple risk behaviours
