A Research Associate or Senior Research Associate position is available in the Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QET Labs). This is an open position and subject to funding. There is no hard deadline as this is a rolling advert.

A Research Associate / Senior Research Associate position is available in QET Labs. The role will involve working on single molecule quantum technologies, atomic quantum memories, and nanophotonic devices. This is a full time, open-ended position with fixed funding until 31/08/2028. Quantum Information Science and Technologies (QIST) is an EPSRC funded CDT jointly hosted at University of Bristol and University of Sussex. The QIST CDT boasts a bespoke training model tailored to the training needs of QIST that disrupts the tradition of training PhD graduates and our students receive cutting-edge training.

The MSc in Optoelectronic and Quantum Technologies offers a one-year full-time masters programme, where students will gain a deep understanding of the design, fabrication and use of the next generation of integrated circuits, sub-systems and systems that combine optics, electronics and quantum engineering for applications in communications, computing, sensing, and healthcare.
