Frontiers in Exoplanet Science

The discovery of the first exoplanet around a sun-like star fundamentally changed our view of planet formation and evolution. The current sample of over 5300 known exoplanets shows a diversity not seen in our solar system, revealing the complexity of planet formation and evolution processes. Current and emerging technologies and data analysis techniques are allowing us to probe new parts of planet parameter space - out to longer orbits, and around younger stars - placing further constraints on these complex formation processes. This talk will highlight working being done in few of these frontiers in finding and characterising exoplanets.
