Collaboration Spaces

Outside of the research purposes for NSQI, one of the main desires for the building was increased collaboration. As a result, the Centre for NSQI has three collaboration spaces that are open for use for the whole University:

• The Seminar Room,
• The Front Foyer
• The Fish Bowl (meeting room)

To book, check availability in the calendars then email Alex Martin (A.Martin@bristol.ac.uk) with the name, date and time of your event plus the space(s) you wish to book. 

Please note: If you are having any catering delivered, you will need to book the Foyer and all spaces will need to be set up and packed away by those booking the space. 

Seminar Room (G.05)

• Large area ideal for events and conferences
• 75" AV Screen (iiyama) connected to PC (also has HDMI connection for laptops)
• AV podium housing PC and control panel for PC/screen
• Cameras located at front and back of room for streaming/video conferencing
• Contains 18 foldable tables that can be stored at the back of the room
• Capacity without tables max 60 people
• Capacity with tables max 36 people
• Not available for undergraduate teaching

Front Foyer Space (G.01)

• Large open plan space at the front of the building
• Large windows
• Comfortable seating 
• Capacity max 50 people
• Can't be booked exclusively, you may be sharing it with other building users
• Must be booked for any catering

Fish Bowl (meeting room) (1.01)

• Small space for meetings with desk
• 60" display screen (Sharp Aquos) with HDMI connection (requires laptop)
• Teleconference facilities
• Capacity max 6 people
