Research interests
I am an Emergency Medicine Doctor and Academic interested in improving the care for all Emergency Care patients.
My research interests include the methods used to deliver research in challenging environments and how we use research to deliver equitable research.
I have conducted research in a range of topics including acute headaches, E-scooters, doctors' psyschological health, cross-cultural adaptations, drink spiking and trauma.
Emergency care research is wide-ranging and one of the key aims of my work is to provide opportunities to others, to ensure that we can build the capacity within Emergency Care research.
My research focus over the next five years will focus on the best type of chest drains to be used in trauma and how to prevent serious youth violence.
