Biography
Having worked professionally in teamsport I returned to full time study and completed a BSc at the University of Bristol in Anatomical Science in 2011, during which I developed an interest in the physiology underlying Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDS). This led to a PhD at the University of Exeter, in which I investigated the effects of applying high-demand actions common in teamsport in both sedentary and other athlete populations.
Returning to the School of Anatomy at Bristol I hope to incorporate an anatomical perspective within the investigative themes I am interested in, particularly the relationship between quantitiative assessment of human movement and the physiological correlates associated with its performance.
