Research interests
I am a Senior Lecturer at Bristol Medical School, working for two PGT taught programmes - Health Professions Education and the MSc Reproduction and Development (as co-Programme Director). I also work for the UG MBChB programme (as Year 1 Choice Academic Lead). I have a background in infant feeding research and in teaching health professionals; since coming to the University of Bristol I have widened my research interests to include pedagogical research and am a steering group member of Bristol Medical Education Research Group (BMERG). I have an interest in supporting others, including students, to publish and am currently running a series of workshops - 'Medical Education Research: Writing for Publication and Conferences'. I have supervised three PhDs, one DPhil and one DDS to completion.
