Research interests
I am a Lecturer at Bristol Medical School, working both for the Health Professions Education programme and the MSc Reproduction and Development (Co-Director, with Dr Gemma Ford). I have a background in infant feeding research and in teaching health professionals; since coming to the University of Bristol I have widened my research interests to include education research and am a steering group member of Bristol Medical Education Research Group (BMERG). I have an interest in supporting others, including students, to publish and am currently running a series of workshops - 'Medical Education Research: Writing for Publication and Conferences'. I have supervised one PhD and one DPhil to completion and am currently supervising two on-going PhD projects.
