Biography
Rachael joined the Law School in September 2014. She has a background in legal practice and is interested in advancing authentic learning in UK university law schools.
In 2017, she partnered with Osborne Clarke in Bristol to write and introduce Corporate Law Simulation for final year law students. This innovative course aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and the realities of practising law, by providing students with the unique opportunity to apply legal knowledge to a hypothetical deal.
She also teaches on Law in Action, which was introduced in 2020 as a compulsory first year course with a focus on skills and knowledge. She has also taught on Company Law (both undergraduate and postgraduate) and Foundations of Business Law.
