Research interests
After completing a PhD on fatigue of composite materials in early 2009, I developed this research through collaborative projects related to the design and failure analysis of tidal energy turbine blades. I also completed an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology in 2011, which gave me a wider interest in renewable energy and I am currently a co-leader of the Cabot Institute's Low Carbon Energy Research Theme.
