Research interests
Contemporary acoustic orchestral, chamber and vocal music. Working collaboratively with live advanced ensembles. Turkish makam, Anatolian folk music, tuning, integrating Turkish (and sometimes other Asian) instruments and voices in creating new 'transcultural' music. Interdisciplinary creative projects with dance, video performance, theater, literature (see especially The Sea-Crossed Fisherman [Deniz Küstü], 2016)
