Research interests
Louis Timperley is a PhD student studying at the University of Bristol, where he is researching the application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to trade-offs, system optimsation and other forms of design space exploration in the spacecraft domain. He completed his Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering also at the University of Bristol in 2021.
His previous work has included investigating the use of MBSE for the development and validation of spacecraft flight software as well as reliability analysis of spacecraft systems.
He is also the software and systems lead on the University of Bristol's CubeSat mission, PROVE Pathfinder, hoped to launch in the near future.
