Biography
I completed my MSci in Geology at Imperial College London in 2019, where during my master’s project I first became interested in the cycling of trace metals in the ocean. I used stable isotopes to investigate the interactions between sediment and seawater, which laid the groundwork for my subsequent PhD at the University of Leeds. There, I delved deeper into the interactions between minerals and trace metals, exploring whether mineral transformation processes impart isotopic signals to trace metals.
Currently, I am a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol, where I focus on the mechanisms and kinetics of radioactive waste dissolution. My research examines how minerals can release contaminants, contributing to our understanding of environmental impacts and safety in waste management.
