My research interests lie broadly in the field of digital economics, in particular the economics of online platforms. In my research, I investigate how online platforms affect traditional industries, consumers, and society.

Biography
I joined the School of Economics as a Lecturer in October 2020. Before that, I worked on my PhD in a joint program of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), the Technische Universität Berlin, and the Berlin School of Economics. Prior to that, I pursued my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During my PhD studies, I spent time at the Office of the Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, as well as at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.

Teaching
I am the Unit Director of the MSc EFM unit in Competitive Strategy. I am also co-teaching the final-year undergraduate unit in Industrial Economics.
In the past, I have taught courses on web scraping for economists, mathematics for economists, as well as financial accounting.
