Research interests
Overall, my research is focused on exploring, developing, and promoting alternatives to technical/techno-scientific rationality in education and training, teaching and learning, the professions, language and literacy, and beyond. This has led me, in particular, to neo-Aristotelian writings. Of special research interest are the writings of Alasdair MacIntyre. His concept of practice was key to the development of my PhD research and thesis, and I continue to draw on MacIntyre's writings in my academic work.
Research Supervision
I would be very interested to supervise writing that shares some if not all of the research interests outlined above. Please feel free to contact me by email for further information and discussion.
