Expertise
I use a variety of high pressure and high temperature tools to study the potential water content of nominally anhydrous minerals throughout the Earth's mantle. My PhD supervisors are Oliver Lord and Simon Kohn.

Biography
I started my B.Sc. in Geosciences at Ruhr-University Bochum in 2017, hoping to pursue glaciology and fell in love with geology on the way. I particularly enjoyed the high pressure research part during my undergraduate thesis. So I went to BGI (University of Bayreuth) in 2020 to do a M.Sc. in Experimental geosciences learning a variety of methods to study the Earth's deep interior. However, as I still hadn't had enough I came to Bristol in 2022 and having been working on lower mantle relevant high pressure experiments ever since!
