Biography
Dr Chay Brooks is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship. Chay joined the Business School in August 2024, having previously worked at the University of Sheffield Management School. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in Geography. Chay’s core research explores the historical and geographical dimensions of entrepreneurial philanthropy. He has published research in world-leading journals and led funded projects covering regional economic development, artificial intelligence, and small business policy. Chay is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an experienced PhD supervisor and examiner.
