Biography
I use quantitative methods (statistics, mathematical modelling, and evidence synthesis) to better understand the epidemiology of infectious diseases, in particular, HIV and hepatitis C virus (HCV), and to understand health among marginalised populations. I am co-principal investigator of the Antiretroviral Therapy Cohort Collaboration (ART-CC) of people with HIV in Europe and North America: https://www.bristol.ac.uk/art-cc/research/
I also work within the Global Epidemiological and Modelling group Bristol (GEM-B). Further details can be found here: https://gemb.blogs.bristol.ac.uk/
I have previously held a Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Wellcome fellowship looking at the effect of changing climate on HIV epidemiology in sub-Saharan Africa and am still working on this topic.
