Biography
I have worked in research administration and oversight since completing my first degree. First as an administrator in orthopaedic and osteoporosis research at Sheffield University then as a trial coordinator in thoracic oncology for Guy's & St. Thomas' NHS Trust.
Having gained considerable practical experience of research management - and particularly of Good Clinical Practice requirements - I was recruited as a Clinical Trial Training Executive by King's Health Partners. In this role I devised and delivered a variety of training courses regarding the conduct and oversight of clinical research and acted as a subject-matter expert for regulatory enquiries, for staff and students of King's College London and three South-London NHS Trusts. I was promoted to manager of the Training Department in 2016.
I have been in my current role with the University of Bristol since Spring of 2019.
