The GCP Consolidation workshop is a half day face-to-face session, designed to build from the Core GCP e-learning package. The workshop is designed to complement the provision of GCP e-learning rather than replace, and will give learners the opportunity to discuss their learning through case studies and interactive activities.

• You've been in a research delivery role for less than 1 year, or you’re looking to consolidate your GCP knowledge after completing the GCP e-learning

What will the course cover?

• Refresh of core GCP learning from e-learning
• Explore the feasibility process and its importance
• Demonstrate an assessment of eligibility
• Appreciate the importance of monitoring, audit and inspection
• Explore data quality
• Define the classification of safety events appropriately
• Recognise different sources of safety information
• Give examples of study documents and how to manage these correctly
• Identify local processes which learners need to know
