Evolution of the brain exhibition

The evolution of the brain exhibition was created to illustrate how similarities and differences in the anatomy of the brain of different species.  The brains are mounted in matching cases to help emphasis the differences in size.  The current collection consists of:

Invertebrates: snail, cockroach, bumble bee, squid

Fish: dog fish, mackerel, trout

Amphibians and reptiles: frog, boa constrictor

Birds: pigeon, chicken

Mammals: mouse, rat, guinea pig, rabbit, cat, dog, sheep, cow, horse

The exhibition was sponsored by the DANA foundation
