Areas of expertise I am working on the regulation of conflicts of interest by analysing whether it is conceptualised by international regulatory agencies as an issue of risk or rather as a ‘moral question’ of legitimacy.

I am working on the institutional developments and future scenarios for UK-EU relations in light of Brexit. I have co-written: "How much of a threat does the Brexit referendum pose for the European Union?" OUPBlog and "The UK’s EU Referendum. The Background, the Vote, and the Impact" published by Oxford University Press.

I have previously worked on the involvement of civil society and interest groups in EU governance and I have written extensively on the impact of EU membership on civil society in the new member states from Central and Eastern Europe.
