Areas of expertise |
My current research areas are (1) adsorption chillers, including build of a solar chiller and development of calorimetric tests to assess performance of refrigerant-sorbent pairs (2) screening candate schemes for utilisation of heat/ waste heat, identifying the optimum scheme in terms of cost, thermodynamic efficiency, ecologcial impact, and user interaction. Before 2006, I was concerned with the use of CFD to optimise the performance of chemical and nuclear plant.
