From Thursday 1 July you will notice that Library Search has a fresh look and feel. We strive to improve Library Search function and presentation and we hope that the refreshed search interface leads to a smoother and more pleasant user experience.

While the practice of using Library Search will remain ostensibly unchanged, we would draw your attention to two new features:

• 'Access options’: this new panel will appear as part of the record for each search result. It is intended to pull together, summarise and present the best access fulfilment routes for each item, whether that is electronic or print, with a reserve link when a print item is on loan and an inter-library loan link when an item is not currently part of our holdings.
  
  
• Our 24/7 live chat service will be appearing in Library Search, meaning that you can more easily raise an enquiry while searching for the items and resources that you need.
