The HRIC has partnered with Amnesty International in order to assist in the preparation of a second edition of Amnesty’s flagship publication on the prohibition and prevention of torture - “Combating Torture: A Manual for Action”. The updated publication seeks to be a practical, comprehensive guide for all organisations and individuals working to combat torture and other ill-treatment world-wide. It is anticipated that the revised manual will be launched as part of Amnesty’s new global campaign against torture in 2014.
