Professor Andrew Charlesworth helps to develop free tools to empower public in online privacy
16 January 2019Protecting personal information while surfing the web or using apps is a concern for many of us and successfully shielding such data can be a struggle. To tackle this challenge, the EU-funded Privacy Flag project, in which the Law School's Professor Andrew Charlesworth was a co-investigator, has established a user-friendly monitoring and protection system which includes free tools for the public.
UN Appoints Law School Alumnus as Judge for International Criminal Tribunals11 January 2019University of Bristol alumnus Judge Yusuf Aksar, who completed his PhD at the Law School in 2000, was elected as a judge for the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (“Mechanism”) by the UN General Assembly on 21 December 2018.
